Throughout history there have been defining moments that change how we interact as a Global Village. Usually, these moments are triggered by catastrophic events either caused by nature or made by man. It is at times like these that we need to come together for the greater good. This performance brings your community together to acknowledge and highlight the positive work you do to embrace the world community.
This performance speaks to:
- Promoting healthy communities that exude respect among all citizens and visitors
- Building understanding and acceptance among all cultural and ethnic groups
- Promoting non-violence, drug and alcohol avoidance and building character of our youth
- Promoting social justice, environmental sustainability, health and peace for humanity
Your community has a unique opportunity to become a City of Hope. Since 1990, Call For Peace, Drum and Dance Company has performed nationally and internationally, including a recent performance at the 4th Global Summit before the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates in Rome, Italy, creating a world-class performance entitled From All Nations …“They Come Dancing.” This is an American and World Tour brought directly to your locality. During the summit performance, Call For Peace delivered a message of Peace, Hope, and Non-Violence for Humanity. Peace Laureates included Mikhail Gorbachev, the Dalai Lama, and Shimon Peres.
